Mondo Beyondo Part 1

Superhero Journal or is that Superhero Girl? … has a wonderful way to acknowledge 2007, let it go…. and bring in 2008 in a loving way. I’m so glad she shared this. 

 1. What do you want to acknowledge yourself for in regard to 2007?

2007 had some highlights.. thank goodness!

• I figured out what I’d like to do, how I’d like to give back and thats by volunteering in support of, and giving talks about Domestic Violence. I signed up to volunteer, and hope to do a lot more of it in 2008.Dealing with the x is always tough. 
• Trying to be the only real parent my daughter has, in all ways, is the best reward I could imagine. Having to pay him child support, while still being the responsible parent has been scary, it’s taken a lot of courage and faith. I keep going, just like I always have, knowing that my daughter is more than worth it. 
• Surviving all that there is, with fibromyalgia…. enough said. 

2. What is there to grieve about 2007?

• I am forgiving myself for not always doing what is exactly right. I forgive myself for not always having a clean house, for not always cooking our meals, for relaxing when I need to.
• I forgive myself for being scared, for not trusting myself, for not forgiving myself until now.
• Let it go….. let it go……  letting it go……

3. What else do you need to say about the year to declare it complete?

Thank you for allowing me to say “I declare 2007 complete!!!!!” whew…..

2008 is my year of …. living life out loud.. getting my body back in shape, to where I was pre fibromyalgia. Getting organized, and….. having a heart open enough to meet the right man for me. I’ve never wished for a guy…. it’s always been the right one… I don’t need someone, I want someone…. thats a great feeling… someone to celebrate the good times…. share the sorrow of the sad times… bring joy to the every day days.
